Dr. Carter trained at Northwestern Health Sciences University in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Upon graduating, he moved to Zimbabwe, Africa, to establish the Zimbabwe Natural Medicine Centre in the capital of Harare. In addition to providing day-to-day health services at the center, he also traveled into the countryside once each month to provide primary care to 60 rural orphans, and he worked with local medical doctors to develop HIV/AIDS treatment strategies to serve the community.
Now based between Los Angeles and Salt Lake City, Dr. Carter provides chiropractic and functional medicine consulting to clients in six countries, including the United States. His professional interests include freelance writing, consulting, functional medicine, functional movement, nutrition, and nature’s rules to health. He is committed to community health and development, and he seeks to infuse research and advances in the field whenever possible to ensure he is utilizing the best practices and being as effective as possible.
